Director, Customer Compliance

Join OS33, the cloud computing company behind workplace_.  The software is designed to let teams do great work together without having to worry about what device to use, where they are, or how to stay secure.  We are looking for a technical leader whose understanding of the broader security and compliance ecosystem makes you stand out from your industry peers.  The ideal candidate will have the business background, technical depth, and communication skills needed to champion expert-level security and compliance discussions with C-level executives and influencers across the industry.  


Responsibilities
As an active member of our Product team, you will develop the compliance strategy for OS33 – in particular, aligning regulatory & security requirements to workplace_ features and capabilities.  You will possess a technical background that enables you to drive engagement and interact at the highest levels, both internally and externally. 


Some of the responsibilities are as follows:

  • You will drive expert-level security & compliance discussions with C-level executives at both customer and partner firms, compliance officers, and industry reporters.
  • You will engage customers pre and post-sale to understand their security & compliance requirements, propose packaged and/or custom solutions, and provide oversight in ensuring appropriate deliverables.
  • You will collaborate & train internal Sales, Deployments, and Support teams to help employees, partners and customers use and support workplace_ in key regulated industries (mainly financial).
  • You will convey partner and customer feedback, as well as feedback internally, as input to product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • You will be an active member of our Product team, representing security & compliance

 

Qualifications 
Minimum Requirements:

  • You are highly technical and analytical, and are capable of demonstrating the ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of regulated and compliance driven firms.
  • 7-10 years of experience in senior technical leadership positions with a focus on security, compliance, and enterprise solutions selling.
  • You possess deep knowledge of enterprise IT including: database systems, tiered storage architectures, server and desktop virtualization, data center operations, network security with ability to evaluate current and future needs and represent unique workplace_ benefits.
  • You understand the security implications and compliance requirements of commercial enterprises and, in particular, financial service firms.  This knowledge includes relevant regulatory policy, third party solutions as well as reference architectures.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC, FINRA, SOX, and state securities authorities such as the NY Department of Financial Services. 

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Technical degree highly desired, or equivalent practical experience 
  • Professional Certification
