Technical Project Manager

Role
Deploying workplace_ is both exciting and challenging.  You’ll be involved in the project from end to end – from conception to the moment the experience is available to delight our customers.  People will look to you to solve problems, communicate effectively, and inspire the project team. You will utilize your management and technical background to influence project team members to take positive action and accountability.  


Responsibilities
As an active member of our Deployments team, you will be responsible for successfully delivering cloud technology deployments.  You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of customer technology projects.  You will have the opportunity to work closely with both the functional and the technical areas, managing the complete project life cycle. You will also be the customer point-of-contact throughout.


Some of the responsibilities are as follows:

  • Liaise with customers and internal resources to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Provide coaching and equip project team with tools for success
  • Create clear and concise project plans to identify the milestones needed for delivering customer focused solutions
  • Utilize an Agile mindset for delivery solutions to our customers
  • Present the details of the project journey to our leadership team – with the goal of facilitating thoughtful conversation and clear decision making
  • Lead efforts involving incident, change management and process improvements

 

Qualifications 
Your strong technical and business know-how enables you to come up with creative and strategic solutions. You are passionate about staying at the forefront of an ever-evolving technology landscape, and you thrive working in a dynamic fast-paced environment. You must have prior experience as a Technical Project Coordinator or Manager.  


Other requirements:

  • Experience with leading successful and collaborative teams
  • Proven track record bringing customer solutions to life
  • 5+ years project management or related work experience
  • In-depth knowledge and practical applications of Agile methodologies 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, & Visio
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools like Redbooth, Zendesk, Slack or Basecamp
